Class of 1987 Reunion Letter

Classmates, below is a copy of the letter that will be sent to members who do not have email. Another copy has been posted in the yahoogroup so that all members can download one for themselves or for other members.

Dear Fellow Classmates,



The time is nearing to celebrate the fact that we have been out of high
school for twenty years! I am sure we all can agree that the past twenty
years have past faster than we would have dreamed they would. A reunion has
been planned to honor this occasion.

Date Saturday, June 2, 2007



Time 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.



Place Pinewood Country club



Price $ 50.00 per person



Food, drinks, open bar and a D.J. will be provided





In order to make this reunion a success we need everyone's help. A slide
show of past and present pictures has been planned. If anyone has pictures
they would like to include please mail a copy to me (their return cannot be
guaranteed) or post on the yahoo group/ Salmen 1987 website or email to me
at dbrtt1@yahoo.com.
We also need a financial commitment. The deposit
has to be paid as we receive payments with the reunion paid in full weeks
before the date. We will not be able to do this without your help. If you
plan on attending, please mail in payment to me at 1131 Rue Corton Slidell,
LA 70458. Please make checks payable to Salmen High Class of 87 reunion.

If you are hesitant about attending, please reconsider! High school is a
very difficult time in a teenager's life, but as we age we mature
(hopefully). You may discover that you have much in common with someone
you may have never thought you would in high school. Many found this to be
true at the football homecoming game in October. Please make an effort to
come- you may be the person that makes someone else's reunion experience a
memorable one! And if you don't enjoy yourself you will have an excuse to
avoid any future reunions.

We would appreciate all that you can do to help us make this reunion one to
be talked about for a long time.

Class of 1987 - Homecoming Reunion

Class of 1987 had a fantastic reunion game turn out... Probably had alittle to do with the tailgate party before at Jules Baumann's house. Thanks Jules and to everyone who made an event like this one an absolute success!

(As one may notice I've been a tad bit busy and have not updated the blog like I should have. Sorry...)
